There’s no better way to get an unobstructed view of the water and all that flows beneath and around you than in these completely clear kayaks.
Paddle this unique protected wetlands trail known as the Upper Klamath Canoe Trail. Explore this picturesque wetlands fed by Malone Springs. The Upper Klamath Canoe Trails is a known home of beaver, marsh birds, waterfowl, turns, pelicans, muskrats, perch and native redband rainbow trout. With your crystal clear kayak, we can keep an eye out for wildlife above and below the water! Malone Springs is a fantastic place to kayak and using a crystal clear kayak allows full view of the water below and beside you too! Plus, photo ops are super fun with a crystal clear kayak in such a beautiful spot.
Slow-moving and meandering, Malone Springs is a beautiful out-and-back paddle. Calm water is a great place to learn to kayak so beginners and kids are welcome.
If you’d like to join us for Kayaking Malone Springs, we’ll meet at the Crater Lake Zipline location located at 29840 Highway 140 West, Klamath Falls OR 97601. Look for the Crater Lake Zipline signs- we are co-located with ROE!, our paddling adventure partner. We’ll prepare you for a fantastic adventure on the Malone Springs Wetlands. You’ll follow us for about 10 minutes in your own vehicle to the boat launch.
After the guides provide a safety briefing we’ll begin paddling through the unique water trails cut through the wetlands looking for wildlife and enjoying the view. Later, we’ll paddle back to where we began so guests can load up and continue on their journey or head back to Crater Lake Zipline for lunch, axe throwing or a zipline adventure. Ask about our packages!
Our partner ROE! will provide the kayaks, lifejackets and paddles you need for exploring and the guides will bring their knowledge and experience to help you along the way. Our guides are always ready to coach you with paddling techniques as we paddle so if you’re new to kayaking don’t worry, we’ll teach you!
Plan to have 3+ hours for this adventure with 2 of those hours on the water.
All of our guided tours include a friendly knowledgeable guide and the kayak, lifejacket, paddle, and Oregon waterway access pass you’ll need to paddle.
