Hop in & buckle up for a guided adventure to the top of Tomahawk Mountain. Our comfortable, full-suspension UTVs seat up to five guests each, plus your driver. Enjoy an exciting ride as we take you through the stunning National Forest. At the top, you’ll stop to enjoy breathtaking views of the Cascade Mountains, Mount McLoughlin, Brown Mountain, Pelican Butte, and the Upper Klamath Wildlife Refuge.

While at the summit, you’ll have time to relax and soak in the spectacular panorama from our scenic vantage point. Sit back in Adirondack chairs with a glass of local Oregon wine, craft beer, or fresh lemonade (other options available). Take a moment to breathe in the beauty and serenity of the mountains before we head back down the mountain. TIMES & DURATION

The average tour time is approximately 1 hour. We ask you to allow 90 minutes from check-in to check-out. Please arrive 30 minutes early and check-in at our Office/Yurt.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

All participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: 5+ (Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the Buggy tour.)
  • Physical Health: Participants should be in good physical health and capable of handling the physical demands of the buggy ride.
  • Substance Use: All participants must be free from the influence of drugs at the time of the activity.
  • Signed Participant Agreement: Each participant must read and sign a participant agreement before their tour begins. Minor participants under age 18 must have a parent or guardian signed participant agreement.

We are located within the Fremont-Winema National Forest, approximately 40 minutes south of Crater Lake National Park. Please note, we are not located inside Crater Lake National Park. Double-check your directions and estimated drive time before your trip to ensure a smooth arrival.

WHAT TO WEAR

  • Closed-Toe Shoes: Sneakers or hiking boots are required.
  • Bottoms: Pants, leggings, or longer shorts for comfort and protection.
  • Top Layers: A t-shirt and a hoodie or jacket—dress for the weather.
  • Hair: Long hair should be secured in a ponytail or braid.
  • Eye Protection: Sunglasses or eyeglasses with a strap to keep them secure.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, you may not bring the following items on your kayak tour:

  • Loose or bulky clothing: Avoid clothing that could get caught in the vehicle, such as scarves, long jackets, or large hats.
  • Bags or backpacks: These can be cumbersome and will not fit comfortably in the buggies.
  • Pets: For the safety and comfort of all guests, pets are not allowed on the tour.
  • Open-toed shoes or sandals: Closed-toe shoes are required for safety and comfort during the ride.
  • Unnecessary valuables: Leave jewelry, expensive electronics, or other valuable items behind to avoid loss or damage during the ride.
  • Food or snacks: For a more comfortable experience, food is not allowed on the buggies, but beverages will be provided at the summit.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservations are non-refundable and may not be canceled or rescheduled within 72 hours of your scheduled tour. If you need to cancel or adjust the number of participants, please contact our office at 541-892-9477.
Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance are eligible for a refund, minus a 10% processing fee.

For added peace of mind, we strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

Yes! The tour is family-friendly and suitable for children aged 5 and up. We offer local wine and brews but also non alcoholic beverages for any under 21 or who would prefer to enjoy an N/A drink with the view. The scenic stop is a great way for the whole family to enjoy the outdoors together.

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing, sturdy closed-toe shoes, and weather-appropriate layers. As the terrain can be rough, be sure to dress for comfort and outdoor adventure.

While we welcome walk-in guests, we recommend booking your tour in advance to secure your preferred time slot, especially during peak seasons. This ensures availability and a smoother experience for all guests.
