Hop aboard our comfortable 22-foot jetboat for a half-day adventure (up to four hours), fishing on a scenic mountain lake. With all gear provided and expert guidance, you’ll fish for kokanee and rainbow trout, —using trolling, spin fishing, or even fly fishing techniques. Our guides will choose the best lake based on current conditions, and they’ll even clean your catch for you!

TIMES & DURATION

The average tour time is approximately 4 hours. We ask you to allow 5 hours from check-in to check-out. Please arrive 30 minutes early and check-in at our Office/Yurt.

You will follow your guide to the boat launch in your own vehicle or meet them there.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

All participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Age: 4+ (Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian on the fishing trip.)
  • Lifejacket: Can fit appropriately into a provided lifejacket. 
  • Physical Health: Participants should be in good physical health and capable of handling the physical demands of fishing.
  • Substance Use: All participants must be free from the influence of drugs at the time of the activity.
  • Signed Participant Agreement: Each participant must read and sign a participant agreement before their tour begins. Minor participants under age 18 must have a parent or guardian-signed participant agreement.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. These measures help make an enjoyable experience for all guests.

We are located within the Fremont-Winema National Forest, approximately 40 minutes south of Crater Lake National Park. Please check in at the Crater Lake Zipline office. Your fishing guide will give you directions to the mountain lake boat launch.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Clothing: Comfortable clothes and shoes that can get wet.
  • Weather Prep: Shorts, t-shirts, and a hoodie are typically great—but dress for the day’s conditions.
  • Eye Protection: Sunglasses or eyeglasses with a strap to keep them secure.
  • Sunscreen: Don’t forget to protect your skin from UV rays.
  • Hat: A hat for added sun protection.
  • Hydration: A reusable plastic or metal water bottle is best.
  • Bug Spray: Keep the bugs at bay and enjoy your time outdoors.

WHAT NOT TO BRING

For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, you may not bring the following items on your kayak tour:

  • Large Coolers & Bags: Please avoid bringing oversized coolers or bags.
  • Glass Beverages: For safety reasons, glass containers are not allowed.
  • Pets: Pets are not permitted on the tour.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservations are non-refundable and may not be canceled or rescheduled within 72 hours of your scheduled tour. If you need to cancel or adjust the number of participants, please contact our office at 541-892-9477.
Cancellations made more than 72 hours in advance are eligible for a refund, minus a 10% processing fee.
For added peace of mind, we strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.

Where Will We Fish?

Your guide will choose Lake of the Woods or Four Mile Lake, whichever has the best fishing conditions at the time. We’ll confirm the location and send meeting directions the day before your trip.

Yes! Anyone 12 and older needs an Oregon fishing license. Get a one-day or annual license online at the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife (ODFW).

Absolutely—if they meet Oregon regulations. Mountain Lakes fish are delicious fresh or smoked! Bring a cooler with ice for your catch.

Layer up! Mornings can be chilly in the high desert, but it warms up fast. Think t-shirt under sweats or a hoodie, plus a hat and sunglasses.

Yes! Small coolers or duffle bags with snacks and drinks are welcome—just keep them compact, and be prepared for things to get a little wet or “fishy.”
